I like trying new techniques. I also like doing challenges. So this year I've joined Year of Jewelry again. Each week there is a theme and you are supposed to create a new piece weekly. With the theme Eclipse, I didn’t want to go for moons or suns. I wanted to go with the colors of night instead. The focal cab I made from polyclay. I used black and grey transparent 11/0 seed beads. I also have 8mm grey cat’s eye beads, black labradorite, faceted glass beads, and metal beads. I guess this piece would have worked just as well for week 3′s mixed media!! LOL
