29 faces 6/29 Dancing Mermaid

I saw this scrapbook paper and had to buy it! I knew I wanted to do some under water floating thing. I originally was going to do a face that covered most of the page. However, she decided she wanted to be mermaid instead. :)

I saw this pink coral ocean picture in an old National Geographic. I thought it would look cool as hair :). So I drew a very simple face to experiment with the paper shredding.
It's actually done on an envelope :)
Not my fav but fun nonetheless :)

Sept 1 29 faces 1/29

Here is the background beginning of the first face for 29 faces. I actually have more done but I need to sort out the hair. I'm going to bed and hopefully I'll have a hair style in mind :)

Here is a face I finished painting around midnight. It's all water color pencil and white craft acrylic paint. I'm not really sure if it counts for 29faces lol

29 faces and other challanges

So exciting, September is filling up with challanges!  I am joining the 29 faces in September challange!  We are supposed to make 29 faces of any kind during September.  I am really looking forward to it since I have been taking Life Book 2012 and Fab Faces.  It should be fun to have even more face time practice! :)  Woot.  You can find information on the challange at ths link http://ilove2paint.blogspot.com/p/29-faces-sept.html  It looks to be fun!  I just hope I can keep up with posting on a daily basis!  I wonder if youtube videos count as posting?  :)

Tawny Talula Girls

Here are 3 sketches I'm in the middle of drawing. I must say I really do like making art journal/ art pieces- so much fun. I'm glad I took Tam's art journal and Life Book classes this summer! I'm hoping Life Book 2013 will be different enough so I can take it again :) Woot!
