Earrings I made Christmas morning for a gift :)
I love making jewelry! It's fun. It takes me a grip to get my stash sorted into the colors and style I want to use though :)
Merry Christmas!

I wanted to make something today so I started doodling. Then didn't like it so I started to scribble lines. Then it looked like a lily, so, I went with that! I love scribble art and art from chaos! Woot!

Lunch playtime
I had to make earrings to fill an order. So after that I wanted to make another pair. This pair came together from bits in the very small section of my bead stash that I brought to work this morning. A bright spot in this otherwise gloomy, dreary, frustrating day.
I really cannot tell you how much I think God for giving my multiple creative outlets!!

Art for the day
This WIP was inspired by Rhomany, one of the LifeBook 2012 teachers and Jane Davenport. I have only used a black colored pencil so far! I like this :)
I've figured out the last summer of doing these awesome on-line art classes that I don't like art journaling in a book. This of course is odd since I love writing my poems and such in notebooks and I buy pretty spiral books any time I see a sale. However, for art I feel blocked by the binding of the books. I think I should just have a big decorative art book to put my pieces in then bind them later like we are doing in LifeBook :)

29 faced 15/29
I wanted to experiment and try to use the dots in a circus themed face. I joined Willowings ATC swap demented or Crazy Circus. However, it did not come out at all circus- like or demented. I do like how it came out though.
4x6? Greeting card
Watercolor pencil
Ink
Hb graphite pencil
I think I'm more illustration than paint. I like the crisp and stark lines in my pieces.

29faces 9/29. Sight
Have you ever starting drawing or painting with an end result in mind but then you realize you actually wanted minimalism? I actually did this pic on the 9th. I was going to post it as unfinished. Then I woke up today and looked at it again. It says what I wanted. So it's finished!
Sometimes I think if it's not layered and layered and cluttered and ornate then it's not a done piece. BS. The point is message and feeling.

29faces 8/29 Beatrice Grey
I had this piece of cardboard from an Amazon .com package. I gave myself the challenge of using only 3 Crayola markers and an HB pencil.
Doing this face also showed me how dark the shadow side of the nose really has to be in order to get a decent pop!

I saw this pink coral ocean picture in an old National Geographic. I thought it would look cool as hair :). So I drew a very simple face to experiment with the paper shredding.
It's actually done on an envelope :)
Not my fav but fun nonetheless :)
